Our wedding will take place in Taormina, Sicily, Italy. The civil ceremony will be held at Palazzo Duchi di Santo Stefano in the city centre of Taormina, followed by a reception at La Plage Resort.

Palazzo Duchi di Santo Stefano offers a historic setting in the heart of Taormina for a civil ceremony, with a hall and garden available. Our reception will be at La Plage Resort, a five-star seasonal luxury hotel directly on the beach within the protected Isola Bella Nature Reserve.

Our wedding will take place on 23 August 2027. Travel dates for immediate family will be coordinated by the Groom.

Please arrive 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins. We will share the ceremony time closer to the wedding.

Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus-one! Please include your plus-one in the total number of guests when you RSVP. Our wedding is an adults-only celebration.

All travel arrangements for immediate family will be organized by the Groom.

If you would like to stay longer than 7 days, travel on alternative dates, or require additional travel arrangements, please inform the Groom by 1 January 2027.

All accommodation will be booked by the Groom through Airbnb, rather than at the reception venue, La Plage Resort. Accommodation details will be shared once bookings are confirmed.

We do not intend to schedule all 7 days. There will be some required wedding activities, balanced with plenty of free time for everyone to explore, relax, and enjoy their own interests. We may also arrange one or two additional group events, depending on guest interest and whether suitable arrangements can be made; these are not yet confirmed.

Our wedding dress code is formal attire. Please keep the hot August weather in mind when choosing your outfits.

Bring lightweight clothing and comfortable footwear for your stay, along with swimwear. Please also pack formal attire for the ceremony and reception.

Expect hot weather for our wedding on 23 August 2027. As a guide for this time of year, Taormina’s historical August average temperature is about 27°C (80°F), with average daytime highs of 31°C (87°F) and overnight lows of 22°C (72°F). These are climate averages, not a forecast for the wedding day. Please pack with the heat in mind, and don’t forget your swimwear!

Yes—please take lots of photos! In fact, we insist! Capture the ceremony, reception, your time in Sicily, and even your journey to and from the island. Please be respectful of our official photographer by keeping clear of their shots and not interfering with the official photographs. We will provide all guests with a QR code to upload their pictures, so we can treasure the memories you create throughout this special celebration.

Your presence at our wedding, especially travelling all the way to Sicily, is the greatest gift we could ask for!
